Australian author who failed English at school now has 7 successful books in bookshop
Best-selling author, Jamie McIntyre is a self-made millionaire while still in his thirties and the CEO of 21st Century Education.
A common theme of all of Jamie McIntyre’s books is that everybody should have received a financial education at school in order to excel in today’s challenging world. McIntyre asks, “Why are people not receiving a financial education while at school?
“Nowhere in our school life are we taught how to have money work for us. Isn’t it interesting? In other words, we are taught only one part of the equation and not the other. The basic concept of how to have money work for us could be taught to 16 year olds at high school in probably a one-day session.”
Unfortunately most adults rely on commission driven financial planners who are often no more than salespeople who earn commissions from the products they sell. This is not the way to ensure financial success McIntyre advises his readers. “Why would you take advice from someone who isn’t a successful investor themselves and who doesn’t lead by example?” he asks.
Instead of relying on advice from commission driven financial advisors McIntyre offers countless tips and strategies for financial success and details many of the secrets to his own success in his books including the importance of having a millionaire mentor and how to develop a millionaire mindset. “Education is the solution to most problems especially financial ones and my books are tools to allow readers to take charge of their financial future and never have to rely on commission driven financial advisors ever again,” according to McIntyre.
He challenges his readers to start taking action, eliminate procrastination and face their fears regarding investing. “Most of us are so caught up with making a living that we forget to live and we are too busy working hard to focus on becoming rich,” he says.
